[ICON ]OutNebraska Volleyball

OutNebraska Volleyball is played every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 at the Malone Community Center, 2032 U Street.

All ages and skill levels welcome! The cost is from $2-5 per person, depending on the number of people who play. If you do not want to play, come socialize! There are always plenty of spectators to visit with and it will give you the chance to come out and meet some new people!

[ICON ] Positive Living

Positive Living is a monthly support group for people affected by HIV. People living with a positive HIV status and those who care about them are invited to a confidential, free peer support group.

2nd Tuesday of each month. Dinner included. Please contact for meeting location and to RSVP for a meal count.

This program is a partnership with Nebraska AIDS Project.

[ICON ] Outlinc Families

Outlinc Families works to provide events and activities for LGBT headed families in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Couples, singles, families with gender fluid or LGBT identifying children are welcome as are any members of the LGBT community who would like to bring grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to our events.

Past activities include a potluck picnic at a local park and a pumpkin decorating party. Upcoming events include community service projects and a family nature walk.

Out on the Town events are opportunities for you to go out with old friends and meet new friends. They happen periodically throughout the year. Past events have included dining out, bowling and attending a women’s basketball game.

Mission of OutSpeaking
Increase awareness and understanding of the LGBTQA community and LGBTQA issues by providing the UNL and Lincoln communities with educational workshops and panels.

[ICON ] The Rainbow Clinic

The Rainbow Clinic in the UNL Psychological Consultation Center is a specialty outreach service to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer community in partnership with OutNebraska.

Psychological services, including individual, couples and family therapy, are provided within the UNL Psychological Consultation Center by regular PCC staff.

[ICON ] Social Networking

At OutNebraska Social Networking events you can engage with other LGBT people, meet and mix with friends, and make great connections. We meet every third Tuesday of the month. Check the community calendar to see where this month’s event is located.

[ICON ] Advocacy

The voices of the LGBTQ community need to be included in conversations that impact the lives of LGBTQ people. We have taken a leadership role in advocating for:

Expanding city and state nondiscrimination policies to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

Ensuring all government employees, including those in a same-sex relationship, have benefits that cover their family.

Representing LGBTQ people at Lincoln’s nonprofit and social services tables.
