OutNebraska invites you to join us on November 7, 2026, for our annual fundraiser, The Unity Ball (formerly 'The Classy Tacky Ball'), an evening of joy, community, and impact in support of LGBTQ+ Nebraskans.
The Unity Ball brings LGBTQ+ Nebraskans together, amplifies united voices, builds a stronger, more connected community, and inspires the next generation.
Guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, dancing, featured entertainment, a silent auction, a raffle, and the return of our beloved Classy Tacky Fashion Show, where attendees showcase their personal style on the runway. Together, we’ll celebrate the progress we’ve made, the work ahead, and each other.
Attire: Dress to express—cocktail, creative, or uniquely you. We’ll crown winners for the Classy Tacky Fashion Show, so come ready to stand out.

The History of the Ball
For many years, our community gathered for the Classy Tacky Ball, a night filled with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable style.
As our organization grows and our impact expands across Nebraska, we’re excited to introduce a new name that reflects the heart of what this event has always been about: celebrating each other for exactly who we are.
We are proud to introduce The Unity Ball.
While the name is new, the spirit and purpose remain the same. The beloved Classy Tacky Fashion Show, dancing, and joyful celebration will all return for another unforgettable evening. We will continue on the wonderful tradition of hosting an event that embraces LGBTQIA+ people and allies exactly as we are.
