LGBTQIA2S+ Name Change Clinic (Douglas County) | Legal Aid of Nebraska

When: Saturday, September 23rd from 9 a.m. – Noon

Where: Heartland Workforce Solutions (5752 Ames Ave, Omaha, NE 68104)

Details: This is a free legal clinic for LGBTQIA2S+ adults and allies residing in Douglas County to assist with the name change legal process. During the clinic you will meet one-on-one with an attorney and complete name change paperwork.

• You must be at least 19 years old to register
• You must be a resident of Douglas County for at least one year from the clinic date
• Maximum capacity: 40 people
• Legal Aid of Nebraska will cover both the court filing fee and the publication fee
• Registration opens August 21st and closes September 17th or until capacity is reached.
