 The September League of Women Voters Lunch & Learn will focus on the issue of using public money to fund private school vouchers and the successful referendum petition drives to protect Nebraskans’ right to vote on this critically important issue.    Nebraskans have historically supported their local public schools, serving nine out of 10 Nebraska kids. Nebraska public schools consistently rank among the top 10 nationally for quality education.  Speakers are Jenni Benson, recent past president of the Nebraska State Education Association, and current NSEA president Tim Royers. Both serve as sponsors of Support Our Schools Nebraska.
