Night of Listening: Voting Rights

The right to vote is a cornerstone of our democracy. Knowing your voting rights is essential for making your voice heard. However, many barriers can make it difficult for voters to exercise their right to vote.
Our panel will walk through ways to ensure access to the ballot box for voters experiencing a variety of contexts, including those fighting against discrimination, intimidation, and more.
This is a hybrid event that will be livestreamed on Facebook as well as take place in person at the Swanson Auditorium on the second floor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Student Union. This event is hosted by Lincoln GOTV coalition partners Nebraska Civic Engagement Table, Husker Vote Coalition, Civic Nebraska, OutNebraska, and the Asian Community & Cultural Center.
