Planned Parenthood Advocates of Nebraska and Planned Parenthood North Central States are excited to invite you back to the Capitol for the 2023 Planned Parenthood Lobby Day. 

Your advocacy is so important this year. State senators think they have control over our bodies now that the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. They are working to pass a bill that would ban abortion at around six weeks, before many people even know they are pregnant.

Join us at the Capitol to lobby your senator against this abortion ban. Our goal is clear: no compromises on Nebraskans’ rights. No exceptions. No bans or further restrictions on abortions.

9 a.m. Lobby training at Wick Alumni Center
11 a.m. Visit our senators at the Capitol
12 p.m. Return from Capitol for lunch, debrief, and guest speakers

This event is for first- and long-time advocates. Before we head to the Capitol, you’ll learn up-to-the-minute updates on important issues—including bills that impact sexual and reproductive health care—so you feel confident speaking with your senator. Then, we’ll head to the state Capitol and your senators at the rotunda!
