Trans Day of Remembrance | PFLAG Hastings

This remembrance event will be at French Memorial Chapel on the Hastings College campus, and takes the place of our regular monthly meeting. We will take time to remember and honor the precious trans and gender expansive individuals who have had their lives cut short through violence, bigotry, and hate.
We will have candles in memory of the lives lost and will also include candles for those living, struggling, and triumphing. We invite you to request a candle in honor or in memory of someone special to you.
Additionally, there will be sharing of readings and poems as well as art honoring the undimmed beauty and power of the trans community. Join us as we mourn together and come close as a community, knowing that love is stronger than hate and that prejudice does not get the last word.
