Voices of Choice: Petshop Gallery | BFF Omaha

Nebraskans for Abortion Access and BFF Omaha are joining together to advocate for abortion access & awareness in rural Nebraska through local artist-designed billboards. The project, Voices of Choice, aims to create advocacy, identify available resources, and spread awareness for abortion access in Nebraska, particularly among rural communities.
Voices of Choice features original works by local artists Anthony T. Peña, Oria Simonini, Kim Darling, Nash Bellows, Samantha Dunne, Daly Chochon, Sweet Devil, Mary Ensz, DEUX OMAHA, and Nicola Callahan.
The selected designs will be displayed from February 6th through May 7th, 2023 on various billboards across the state, specifically in Hastings, Valentine, Grand Island, Kearney, Norfolk, Geneva, Lexington, and Scottsbluff.
For those unable to see the billboards in person, a public gallery exhibition of the selected designs will occur at BFF’s Petshop Gallery (located in Omaha’s Benson Creative District), during First Friday March 3rd (7-10pm), and remain on display for 2 months coinciding with billboard installations.
Visitors to Petshop will be invited to take part in direct action by writing postcards during the First Friday opening reception
