Rally for Workers & Against LB327 | Raise the Wage Nebraska

Rally with affected workers and advocates to express our deep frustration with legislation that attempts to contradict our voter-approved minimum wage increase. We raised the minimum wage with cost of living adjustments for all workers. We’re demanding our senators respect our vote and respect us.
Nebraska voters passed Initiative 433 in November by 58% to raise the state minimum to $15 by 2026 and increase for cost of living annually beginning in 2027.
LB327 seeks to undermine the initiative and hurt workers by:
-capping yearly cost of living increases at 1.5%
and
-creating a subminimum wage for Nebraska workers aged 14-17.
